Eligibility
Hoopla is a digital media service available to anyone with a MPL library card and like Libby, is based on residency. Hoopla offers ebooks, audiobooks, comics, music, tv, and movies.
Availability
Hoopla is a no-holds, instant checkout platform, unlike Libby which uses waitlists. You may sometimes receive a notification that your checkout limit or the library’s limit has been reached for the day. In this case, you’d have to wait until the next day to use it. If you’ve reached your personal checkout limit, (currently 6 checkouts) it will reset at the beginning of the next month.
