First of all, we are located in Iowa. Not New Hampshire, Connecticut, or United Kingdom. (there has been some confusion in the past)

Step One
Click here to print out a library card application, or come into the library. Please note: library cards for minors must be signed by the minor and the parent/legal guardian. Please find a copy of our circulation policy below.
Step Two
Make sure you bring a photo ID with your current address. If you don’t have an updated ID, bring in a piece of mail (dated within 30 days) with your current address. If you are not an Iowa resident, you can still get a library card for an annual fee. Call us for more information.
If you are not from Iowa, you can still get a library card for a fee of $20.
Other Options
If you have an ID but no proof of current residence, we can issue you a limited use temporary card. Checkout is limited to 1 item per visit. Stop by the library to find out more information.
If you don’t have the identification for a card and live in Manchester or rural Delaware County, you can sign up for a digital (e-books, audiobooks, and more) access-only card. Click here to sign up.
